Unanimous planning consent for Acton Gardens Phase 8

We are very proud to announce that our proposal for Acton Gardens Phase 8.1 and 8.2 has achieved unanimous planning approval

This major phase of 336 mixed-tenure homes marks the next chapter in the evolution of the Acton Gardens development at the 3,500-home redevelopment . The project forms the latest phases 8.1 and 8.2 of the long-term £800m regeneration of a 52-acre estate.

Two generous parks border the development allowing the new homes to elegantly frame the public spaces and celebrate the verdant character of the area.

Each building is given a unique character, responding to specific and varying site conditions. A rich palette of materials and textures using distinctive bricks and patterns suggests a strong new identity for this part of Acton Gardens.

Playing a key role in enhancing connections, the scheme links the newly opened community centre at the heart of the neighbourhood and our recently completed Phase 7.1 to the north.

Sally Lewis, director of Stitch, said:

“These phases continue the values of the Acton Gardens masterplan, celebrating the verdant character of the neighbourhood to present a distinctive yet elegant backdrop for the public spaces of both Avenue Park and Central Plaza.”

Stitch is the only architect appointed to design three stages of the masterplan with phase 3.1 complete in 2016 and phase 7.1 last year.
