Sally Lewis suggests ways practices can help young people into the profession using imaginative, cheap and easy initiatives.

‘National Apprenticeship Week reminds us that practices ought to help young people into work – and into architecture. But there may be better ways of doing this than apprenticeships, argues Stitch Architects’ Sally Lewis

It is National Apprenticeships week and Stitch has just seen its first work experience student through the Stitch Academy. With a national focus to provide more training for young people Sally Lewis speaks about how success requires a combination of classroom learning and practical skills.
