Sally Lewis

Founding Director

Sally Lewis is an architect and urban designer and started Stitch in 2012 with the vision to create not just beautiful buildings, but enriching environments for residents to live and foster community within for years to come. Under her leadership the Stitch team is shaping and transforming whole neighbourhoods in major regeneration projects across London. The studio’s approach to partnership working with communities has been rewarded with unanimous planning consents for hundreds of homes.

Sally is also a published author on urban housing and a mentor for young architects. She is the founder of The London Neighbourhood Scholarship Trust which promotes a more socially aware and diverse built environment in London through investment in the architectural education of young Londoners. The LNS creates a level playing field for aspiring young architects to perform alongside their peers, giving them the opportunity to get the best out of their education without the distraction of financial pressures.
