A public realm led, mixed-use development in Bromley Town Centre delivering 410 new homes, 1800sqm of commercial space and 1300sqm of community space

The Churchill Quarter scheme unlocks a key part of Bromley Town Centre location to create new links between the high street, Church House Gardens and the Churchill Theatre.

The vision for the scheme is to frame a series of high quality existing and new public spaces, including a new publicly accessible pedestrian promenade that provides new green space for the town centre.

Careful use of levels across the site allows all servicing to be from lower levels, allowing the pedestrian experience of the public spaces to be celebrated, and for active frontages onto the landscaped spaces to be optimised.

This complex scheme is the product of comprehensive engagement with local stakeholders and the local planning authority. As a result, the form and character of the design has been highly responsive to the local conservation area and high street context, with consistent design evolutions to identify a uniquely Bromley character for the scheme.
